Stone-vaulted Urban Street, TURNOVA, Turnhout, Belgium

ODB has been hired by Baumschlager Eberle Vaduz to provide the structural design and advanced engineering of the stone vaulted stoa of the TURNOVA urban development project in Turnhout, Belgium. For this project, ODB is collaborating with the BLOCK Research Group at ETH Zurich for the structural form finding and fabrication optimization of the unreinforced, stone-cut, free-form building. Currently, the project is in a second design development stage, and awaiting building permit approval.
