Stone-vaulted Amphitheater, MLK Jr. Park, Austin, TX, USA

In collaboration with the BLOCK Research Group, ETH Zurich, ODB is designing a radical stone structure to be used as a multi-purpose community space. The structure will be located in the heart of the MLK Jr. Park of the East-Austin urban development and transit-oriented district, Chestnut Plaza, by MFI Real Estate and the Meredith family. This project is in collaboration with Escobedo Construction, a unique Austin-based custom stone fabricator and general contracting firm. The project is in the initial design stages.
